DellaCare Foundation is the non-profit arm of Mercy Children's Hospital. Together, we can give every child a healthier tomorrow.
Why it exists
The gap between needing care and affording it
A parent should never have to decide between a child's treatment and the rest of the household. That decision is made often, and quietly.
The Foundation closes that gap. It is funded by donations and partners, and it pays for consultations, tests and medicines for children whose families cannot. It also funds free medical missions that reach children who could never travel to us in the first place.

Three ways it keeps children in care
Care for families who cannot pay
When a child needs treatment and the family genuinely cannot afford it, the Foundation covers the cost so care goes ahead.
Diagnostics and treatment funds
Urgent tests and medicines are paid for from a dedicated fund, so nothing waits while money is found.
Free medical missions
Teams travel to underserved communities with screening, treatment and medicines at no cost to families.
On a mission day
What your support actually pays for
A mission weekend means a tent, a team, a table of medicines — and hundreds of children seen who would otherwise have gone without.

Donate
A one-off or regular gift goes directly into care for children whose families cannot pay.
Volunteer your skills
Clinicians, pharmacists, laboratory scientists and organisers are all needed — on missions and at the hospital.
Partner with us
Organisations can fund a mission, supply medicines and equipment, or sponsor a program for a year.
Every gift ends in the same place — a child who was seen, treated and sent home well, whose family was never asked whether they could afford it.
